Trustee Candidate Information Page

The Mokena Community Public Library District will have nominating petitions available on Tuesday, August 25, 2026 for persons who wish to run in the April 6, 2027 Consolidated Election.

The terms for election are:

  • Three Library Trustees ((6) six year terms)

  • One Library Trustee ((4) four year term)

Importance Dates:

Nominating petitions and all necessary forms, including signature requirements, will be available at the Mokena Community Public Library District, 11327 West 195TH Street, Mokena, IL on Tuesday, August 25, 2026.

The first day to file a petition is Monday, November 16, 2026. The last day to file a petition is Monday, November 23, 2026 until 5 pm.

(A minimum of 77 signatures is needed on the petitions.)
